Bridgnorth residents invited to seminar on Care fees and Protecting your assets
A firm of solicitors in Bridgnorth have organised a free seminar to discuss the issues surrounding long term care to help people gain the information they need to make informed choices about how to fund care costs that will best suit their own individual needs.
Organising long term care is a daunting business and it's perhaps no wonder that all too many families put planning for it off until a crisis point is reached. This is a mistake however as even a small amount of forward planning can make the process a whole lot easier to manage and costly mistakes avoided.
The event which is open to all is being organised by FBC Manby Bowdler Solicitors. It will take place on Thursday 11 October 2018 and will be held at Marches Centre of Manufacturing and Technology in Bridgnorth.
Topics to be covered in the presentation include:
- Why does understanding the system matter?
- The Care System - what you need to know
- The Money - how poor and how rich do you have to be
- Solutions - what should be in an Asset Protection plan
There will also be exhibitions from Age UK, Alzheimer’s Society,
Carers Trust 4 all, Independent Living Partnership,
Shropshire Partners in Care and Perry & Phillips Funeral Directors.
Tea & coffee and a chance to see the exhibitors will be available from 9:15am and the presentation starts at 10am. There is free parking and disabled access.
