A series of meetings are being offered in East Cowes to support anyone in the area living with dementia along with their carers, relatives and friends.

To be held at St James' Church on Well Road the monthly meetings provide an opportunity for carers to share experiences, deepen their understanding of dementia, and challenge their existing beliefs and attitudes about the condition.

The sessions are free of charge and cover a range of issues that carers often find challenging, with each meeting running from 6:30 to 8:30pm.

September 15th : Money issues, mental capacity and power of attorney.
October 18th :      Dental Health
November 22nd : How to manage Christmas

The meetings are being organised by Dementia Pathfinders, a social enterprise group that work across the UK to provide education and support for carers, family members and anyone interested in dementia care.
