Nottingham’s Sherwood Group brings dementia memories to life for Melbourne House Care Home by printing their festive artwork into Christmas Cards.

Taking the Care Home under their wing the company pledged to help the Care Home raise money for its Residents’ Fund by offering to produce and print a batch of their very own charity cards.

Taking selected artwork created by individuals living with dementia created during a festive reminiscence arts and crafts session, the printing company have fashioned the artwork into the ideal Christmas card scene ready for the home to sell. A total of 325 packs of 12 cards are printed onsite, packed foc by KMD company and envelopes supplied by Envenco.

Trayce Archer-Pullen, Activities Coordinator at Melbourne House Care Home says: “To have the kind and generous help of the Sherwood Group is amazing. I feel like they really are our guardian angels supporting us to offer something really bespoke for family and friends to benefit from. It is hoped the professional touch will make the cards a festive must have and help us to raise funds for our Residents’ Fund.”
